Driving test

Last night took a shuttle at 0650 SQ117, touched down Changi at 0745. Went to hunt for a new brand of facial care. JURLIQUE www.jurlique.com.au found it at the T2 Central at Perfumes and Cosmetics. Just a small corner in the middle, then found the Rose hand cream, smells nice.. and not oily… just my kind of fragrance. Will be on my fav list… among TNS, tropical sugar cane... the fragrance is heavenly too.
Ah miss home cook food. Simply delicious.
Read my mag then off to bed

When I finally open my sheepishly eyes, I saw the time on my hp… damn it.. its already 0701, and I am suppose to have a warm up lesson at 0725, so in a hurry, I just change into a new set of clothes wash my face and brush my teeth, grab a bag and dump all the things I need and out the door. Got a bus and arrive at abt 0730, late abit, but still had my warm up lesson.
Damn, my mind was a blank piece of paper.

Stall a couple of times during warm up.
After which went to a room to be called, coz the test start at 0825, took test route no 5, sounds like mambo number, and I can tell u all I have never never memorize my test route.

Okie sit back n relax, I am going to type out my mistakes online. Ah.. washing dirty laundry here… oops. But who cares.

In circuit
First, is the slope, I made it.
Narrow course, all clear,
Hmm moving off – got 4 pts deducts off for moving off slow.
And 6 pts altogether for insufficient acceleration
Forward driving at the bend, got 6 pts deducts off for failing to keep within lane. Hmm cant recall which part was that.
Fail to take precaution against pedestrian damn the 2 guy, already see me turning in still wanna walk across the entrance. Damn them. Tats 8 pts.
Got 4 pts for failing to use appropriate gear? Hmm also cant recall which part was it.
4 pts for failing to check blind spots. Hmm got meh? I wonder which turn was that.

4pts altogether for fail to apply brake when vehicle is stationary, I though step foot brake at times can liao.

Parking – fail to park into the vertical lot and exceed more than 5 mins. Damn… this is bad.

4+6+6+8+4+4+4 = 36 altogether.
Next test date 13 feb 2006, n I got to pay another 150 + to book a new test date and renew my school lesson. Damn. So expensive to learn driving in sg.

Day 1
7.45am, took a coach to KL.
Reached Hotel around 2 plus…. Rest then till abt 4pm go shop at BB Plaze shop. When its abt time to go back, it was raining cats n dogs. So went back to BB Plaze, the KFC, drink milo n talk talk… while waiting for the rain to stop.

After 30 mins, still raining,.. but not as heavy so got into a cab n went back to Swiss garden hotel. N went up to the ah yi restaurant, n order dinner. Peking duck is in the list.. ah… 1 duck to 3 persons, my mum, sis n me. so nice.

Then went back hotel room to sleep

Day 2
Morning have breakfast at the hotel
Then in the afternoon, meet relatives at mid valley to walk walk util abt 2pm then went back to hotel to meet my dad, grandma n godma who have also come along w us to my cousin’s wedding.

Then we let them rest till abt 5pm before we head to bintan walk in 2 separate cabs

Nothing much, but as usual we each bought a glass of lou han guo drink. Nice…
Then took a cab to the last terminal of sri petaling LRT n wait for my cousins to come n fetch us. Coz they have a welcome dinner for my grandma at a restaurant. 1 big table w abt 15 plp.
Later after dinner, went to my “com mo” house, then see my cousin’s dog.. so funny… my cousin walk away then he bark n bark… the tail keep wagging… abit scary.. then the nose sticky one. Then abt 20 min later, we all went to my “san yi ma” house, also sit for abt 20 min. lastly our 2 cousins fetch us back to the hotel in 2 cars… in KL no car.. very hard to move around.

Day 3
Dad, mum, grandma and godma went to Gentings early morning. Slept till abt 11 plus before my sis n I decided to dress up and go shop and have our branch.

First stop, bukit bintang, she shop for her bags, bought quite a lot, among her victories, is a bag and wallet for my dad. Coz his bday approaching. Then while she is still bargaining her way thru … I went to get myself a cup of lao han guo drink, a MUST drink Drink when I am there coz since I am a little girl, my mum introduce it to me. A nice. Cooling. Even cooler than the afternoon drizzy.

Then we went back to the hotel to deposit her victory while we rested for abt 10 mins before going out. This time round, our destination is Mid valley. Ah… already hungry liao, yet my sis still wanna shop for her stuff. This trip to “Real” is really disappointing, all the clothes on display there dun suit the brand. I wonder what happen and it’s the first time I go there and come out w/o any purchase. Then off to sushi king at KLCC. Ah the food is nice. For RM 1++, I get to eat my sashimi, fried soft shell crab w plenty of roes, pregnant fishes, a unagi set lunch for my sis while I feast on the fresh rawness of the fishes. Haha… nice I tell u. compare to Singapore. And so much better than the OH sushi in KL. Its worth it.

Then after which we went to BB Plaza and get our nails done. My sister in the meanwhile wish to get her hair perm, thus after my manicure, I took a cab and went back to the hotel myself, coz its already 6+ and there is a gathering at my cousin place at abt 7+. And u know how long it takes to perm the hair two damn hours. So … I cant possibility wait for her right. My folks are already on their heels when they couldn’t find us at our rooms at the pre-arrange agree time.

At 7pm, we took a cab to Sri Petaling LRT station, the last one with taxi stand and bus stop. And my relatives come in two cars to pick us up. And off we went to my cousin house. A lot of relatives are already there and a lot of them I have not met before, coz CNY we dun really visit all. Only my mum’s sis and bro we visit, not her cousins. So a lot of introduction. Then its was a catered buffet with a cook and 4 waiter and waitress on hand to serve all the guests. A lot of food I tell u. oops I forgot to take photos. Ah.. have to wait for my cousins to develop and send it to me. hehe…

Then after dinner, is waiting time. 11pm to be exact, my male cousin (bridegroom to be) walk down the stairs, blushing red in his new pajamas and take a sit in front of a alter set up for him. On the table are a pair of bright red candles, 2 saucers dish of oil w wick, a incense pot with incense, a comb, a mirror, etc, and a live cock tie under the table. Then at 11pm, my uncle starts to comb my cousin’s hair and saying auspicious words at the same time. And then tied 2 red slash cress cross his chest. And put his cap on. After the whole process, is the dumpling eating time. After which my relatives fetch us to my mum’s eldest brother house, ah the dog another cousin keep is so full of energy. Then we went to another cousin house and then in 2 cars they fetch us back to our hotel.

In the recent months, I kinda of dislike those instructors that were allocated to me by the driving center. Crap.
Each n individual of the past 3 drivers… are not saying the same. Well… different plp different techniques. But damn... today my last lesson, this crap also tell me what the other teach are crap... so who should I heed advise from?
Damn them.

Upslope – one say get biting point then accelerator, the other one say accelerate first then get biting point.

One is the braking – one says footbrake then depress clutch, the other one say depress clutch then footbrake.

So far, my turning is already, no instructors says anything, then today, this one dun know why the seat so low… I cant even see the car front. So, judging from my senses, I turn lor.. then he say not correct. So I told him I dun know why today the seat so low.. then he say last time u also drive this car model right.. I say ya, but today I can only see the steering wheel instead of the car front. Then he asked me… then I think u should get a cushion. WHAT? After all my twenty plus lesson, on my last lesson, u crapping guy ask me to buy a cushion. Is it becoz u got a heavier body mass that’s why the car sink n becoz I am shorter than the rest of yr students they dun find it a bother. Feel like struggling him.

Then when I told him today my last lesson he say… I wish u luck, dun the chances are slim. Damn him again. Really hate him.

Today is another spring cleaning day for me.
Ah… then I found a clock that he gave me last time… for my home eco practical test.
That clock got an attaching photo frame where I can open up and insert my menu for today.

The picture on the clock face is at a Victorian park on a bright sunning morning. Seated on a beach is a well-dressed couple, the man in a suit and the lady with a hoped dress and a sun-brolly.

Anyway the clock hand has stopped moving just like the old grandfather’s clock. No point changing the battery as there is already no point in keeping it… in the trash bag it goes… 1 thing less to remind of him. Would I regret… for now… I can say no…. maybe in the future I would regret throwing it too soon. Else I could have keep all… together w all the dust and DHL to him on his wedding day. But will waste my $ on DHL w him right… only give myself more trouble. Then… still need to track him else how I know when he is getting married. Ah… then how can I ever get him off my mind… n be true to the next guy that will come into my life.

Hmm have yet to found my bustier… think I got to make do with whatever I have by then as well as whatever I see when I am in KL next Thursday. Sunday is the weddings… still got shoes… hair do have decide… coz the dress isn’t even confirm yet.

then also dun know which necklace to wear... wanna to wear bracklet anot.. n what earrings to go with it.
